Patanjali Yog Sutras :-

1 – “Atha Yog Anushasanam” which means Now Yog begins so be disciplined. It’s true in every sense that one needs to be disciplined, sincere and consistent in efforts to reap maximum benefits and so is the case with Yoga. (नैरन्तर्य  अभ्यासेन्).

2 – “Yogas Chitta Vritti Nirodha” which literally means Yoga is stopping of fluctuations/waves/thoughts of the mind called Chitta, making our mind-body tranquil and blissful which is obtained by sustained Yog practice.”

3 – “Tada Drashtuh Swarupe Avasthanam” which means then the seer rests in their own true nature of peace, bliss, contentment which is obtained by consistent, sustained and disciplined practice.
